In 2016, Zivana LOEL pioneered and produced the first aged “Zivana Gold”. Zivana Gold, is aged in French oak barrels for at least 3 years. This gives it a distinctively unique taste
Zivana Gold is distilled from the best local grape varieties, Xynisteri and Black, is aged in a French oak barrel for seven to eight years, where a small dose of pure mountain honey is added. The smooth golden colour and the light taste, traits of Zivana Gold, are the result of this aging process and the assimilation of the natural wood and honey aromas.
